D and D Christmas Show Frequently Asked Questions
Over the years we have been asked a lot of questions about our light shows. So, we thought we would share them with you. There may be questions you didn’t think of until now! Or the answers may even surprise you!
What are your hours?
Sunday – Thursday: 5:00pm to 9:00pm
Friday and Saturday: 5:00pm to 10:00pm
How many lights do you have in your show?
Approximately 250,000 LED and Pixel Lights
How long does it take to decorate for your show?
Approximately 4 weeks
How much does the show raise your power bill?
Approximately 150 Dollars because we use LED and Pixels
Will your show run during the Holidays?
Yes, we run every night including Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Eve. We will only shut down in case of inclement weather. This will be announced on our Facebook page.
Will your show run after Christmas?
Yes, with shortened hours. We will update this website and the Facebook page after Christmas.
Is this a walk through display?
No, please do not cross the road and/or walk in the grass. We have a lot of cords laying in the yard which can be trip hazards or damage the show and the road is busy with traffic and we do not want anyone getting hurt. There will be a photo area in the drive thru that will be marked for parking/picture opportunities.
What is the cost of this?
It is free; however, we do accept donations through cash or our QR code. Please see the Support The Lights page for more information. There is a donation box in the drive thru if you prefer to use cash to donate.
Can we park in the field?
Yes, please feel free to park in the field but keep in mind, this is a farm field so if we get rain or snow, it will be too wet for most vehicles to drive through. Typically, you can still back in from the road and keep your front wheels in the ditch if it has rained and not have a problem getting out. If you park on the side of the road, please use your hazards, and remember this is a heavily used road, so please do not block traffic or our mailbox. Please always use caution when entering or exiting the field.
Where is the drive through located?
The drive-through starts at the east side of the farm and you will enter at the 1st entrance and follow the lighted path.
